This training is for parents of children in Riverside & San Bernardino counties. Parents will learn about sensory processing and how it affects learning and behaviors. Presented by Annette Richardson, OTR/L. Annette has worked for IRC for 20 years as an occupational therapist specializing in pediatrics. She has extensive training and experience in feeding and sensory processing disorder.

You and your child are invited to join an exciting read-aloud story time. During these interactive sessions, children will develop language and communication skills. Each day a different story will be read to engage children in exploring the world around them.

Join the conversation! At this Parent Café, parents will:
-Recognize the characteristics of developmental milestones for children ages 2 months to 5 years
-Discuss the importance of tracking your child’s development to help with early identification of possible delays
-Discover tools such as the CDC’s “Learn the Signs. Act Early.” to use as a guide to understanding the development of your child, as well as activities to help them reach Milestone Moments
