Potty Training for Children Who Are Blind or Visually Impaired

Potty training looks a little different when a child is blind or visually impaired—and that’s exactly why we built this workshop. This session walks parents and caregivers through the same five-part approach families rely on at The Potty School, adapted specifically for children who learn primarily through touch, sound, and repetition rather than sight. We’ll talk about how routines, prompting, and independence skills need to shift for these children—and how, with the right support, they can learn to use the potty successfully, just like any other child.
