A life skills class for special needs teens and adults (14+) that teaches functional skills that they can use in their everyday life, building confidence and independence. Our class objective is on personal development, promoting self-confidence and well-being. Participants will learn household tasks, self-care, hygiene and build friendships through social interaction. We strive to help our participants to become more assertive, confident, and build better relationships with their family and friends. Our classes are FREE but pre-registration is required through www.jarpd.org. Our classes are under the special interest tab, listed as Adaptive Adventures Wednesdays.
