Meeting Focused on Abuse Prevention for Older Adults and People with Disabilities
Join the upcoming Silence = Violence Network Meeting on Thursday, June 26, from 1:00 to 3:00 p.m.. This important gathering is open to all community members and will spotlight voices from the disability and aging sectors. Together, we will listen, learn, and reflect on the real challenges faced by individuals often perceived to be at risk — including older adults and people with disabilities. The meeting will be hosted online via Zoom.
Silence = Violence is a collaborative effort to confront and prevent the abuse, neglect, and victimization of vulnerable populations. By coming together, we can amplify our shared commitment to equity, protection, and dignity for all. Whether you're a service provider, advocate, or family member, your presence and perspective are welcome and needed. Let’s turn awareness into action — and silence into change.
